Jota Sport, the renowned racing division of the Jota Group, has become one of the most successful and dynamic endurance racing teams over the last decade.
Competing on the global stage, Jota Sport can count upon many significant victories in one of the toughest and most
challenging branches of motorsport. A Jota entered LMP2 car took a sensational victory at the 2014 Le Mans 24 Hours, a win which was lauded as ‘a modern classic’ at the famed French endurance event. As well as winning LMP2, the car finished 5th overall.
As well as its immaculately prepared sportscars, Jota Sport has earned a reputation in recent years as a major talent nurturer with several young drivers benefitting from an extensive driver development programme.
Talents such as Harry Tincknell, Oliver Turvey and Mitch Evans have all gone on to drive for manufacturers and create substantial reputations as professionals in their own right. Jota Sport is proud to be the organisation of choice for the next generation of endurance racing stars who are intent on making a long and fruitful career at the top of their professions.
2017 will see Jota Sport link up with the world famous Jackie Chan name as a combined campaign with the Jackie Chan DC Racing squad was announced in February. The new alliance will run two LMP2 cars in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
Jota Sport astounded the Motor Sport world in 2017, when they delivered a record breaking performance at the Le Mans 24 hours, finishing second and third overall and first and second in the LMP2 class, and creating history by becoming the first ever LMP2 car to actually lead the iconic race ,which they achieved with 2 hours remaining.
